The need for Legal services by the victims of police brutality has received increasing attention in recent weeks. The Law Society of Kenya seeks to ensure equal access to justice for all.
The Legal aid is an essential element for delivering on the entire framework of the justice for all Kenyans who have unlawfully been abducted, detained and in need of legal representation during these trying moments.
The response by LSK has emerged as a means for ensuring an effective and timely defense of helpless protesters from an overreaching regime by representing the said victims through fair trial, protection of equal access to socio and economic rights, securing the rights of women and girls, and empowering the youthful citizens to promote accountability through Citizens Assembly.
We are proud to support the team of Advocates offering their time and resources towards this cause and we hope you will consider doing so. Legal Aid Donations go directly towards supporting individuals in need, and in some cases, organizations working to provide such services or promote critical social change.
